THERAPY SESSIONS
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you've never done it before. It's natural to feel uncertain, nervous, or even wonder whether therapy is "for you." My hope is to make the process feel as welcoming and collaborative as possible.
There's something profoundly powerful about creating a quiet space in which to know yourself—and to be known.
Our sessions are an opportunity to slow down together and gently explore whatever feels most important. We might notice patterns that seem to keep repeating, make sense of emotions that have felt overwhelming or difficult to access, or become curious about how past experiences continue to shape your present life. Rather than trying to "fix" you, we'll work toward a deeper understanding of your experiences, building the capacity to stay with whatever needs to be felt while developing greater self-compassion along the way.
I don't have all the answers, and I'm not here to tell you who to be or what decisions to make. Instead, I see therapy as a collaborative process. I'll bring my training, curiosity, and presence; you bring your lived experience. Together, we'll discover what feels true and meaningful for you.
The therapeutic relationship itself is an important part of the work. I strive to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest—not only about your life, but about your experience of therapy itself. If something I say doesn't sit well with you, if you feel misunderstood, or if something doesn't feel right, I genuinely want to hear about it. Those conversations are welcome and often become meaningful parts of the therapeutic process.

LET'S MEET: FREE 15-MINUTE CONSULTATION
Finding the right therapist matters.
Research consistently shows that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of positive outcomes. No matter how experienced a therapist is, therapy works best when you feel comfortable, respected, and able to trust the person sitting across from you.
A free 15-minute consultation gives us an opportunity to meet, talk about what brings you to therapy, and answer any questions you have about my approach or what to expect in a first session. If you're new to therapy, this can also help ease some of the uncertainty about getting started.
I always encourage people to choose the therapist who feels like the right fit—even if that isn't me. Feeling safe and understood is an important foundation for meaningful therapeutic work.
